This makes me well up with pride.

After the much-ballyhooed 'The kids stayed home' reason for Kerry's loss on the 2nd, turns out it was complete bullshit. Take a gander at this:

"Despite long lines and registration snafus, voters under age 30 clocked the highest turnout percentage since 1972. The good news is that America's young people are more engaged in politics than at any time in two generations. Aging cynics have been quick to blame the kids for a host of political lapses, but the cynics have it wrong."

This is a victory, plain and simple. We were able to get the most apathetic voting generation off their asses and to the polls. For that, we won, no matter who's still in the white house.

And for all of you who are thinking about running away to Canada, take a good look at that map. That's what you can look forward to. There are lots of us, and we're not going anywhere.
